With the ground too wet to work, the transplants are piling up on the hardening off bench and the weeds are making themselves right at home. It’s been a frustrating week for farming, but all these rain clouds have a silver lining: the soggy fields have given us a chance to chip away at the fig tunnel construction! We’re still a long way from a bountiful harvest, but it feels good to have some posts in the ground. And with 400′ of new raspberries, black raspberries and strawberries in the ground, our fruit future is looking extra sweet.
